When you come to Yuma, you should definitely see the old Territorial Prison. It'll
cost a couple of dollars. Back in the 1800's, prison really WASN'T a "Country
Club". People were sent here for crimes ranging from adultry to murder.

These units were originally built and used as Army barracks.
Later, moved to 4th Avenue and turned into the Desert Lodge Motel. (It is
still standing under another name). By the 1980's it had turned into a flop
house, home to many drug addicts and prostitutes.
